Seed

This solid stool portrays a primordial form and basic necessity. Tucker, inspired to bring his designs back to the basics, worked with the Ifugao carvers to create an abstraction of something with which they are intimately familiar. Simplistic in its form yet complex in its implications, the Seed is a product of people learning to communicate through the language of design.
