Goblet Side Table

Inspired by the traditional mortar whose form evokes the divine feminine spirit of the mother to the Toraja women of Sulawesi, Indonesia, this pieces now serves as an elegant pedestal base. Carved from solid, salvaged Acacia in the Northern Philippines and finished by hand here in Long Island City, the base is topped with a circular slab.
